After the approval of the Pfizer vaccination, Britain became the first country to begin mass vaccination drive. The drive started on December 8, 2020.

The people are high risk will be vaccinated first and this includes elderly people, health and social workers. 80-year-old Margaret Keenan was the first person to be vaccinated.

The vaccination drive begins early in the morning were the first group of people who received their first shot of vaccine. And the next shot will be given post 21 days as per the working mechanism of the Britain produced vaccine.

Boris Johnson Calls It A Boon

The Prime Minister of Britain Boris Johnson has called the Pfizer vaccine a boon. Because so far the country had been several affected by the coronavirus.

And in this situation, the approval of a potential cure for the disease was much needed. The Prime Minister stated that the vaccination has come as a ray of hope for the whole world affected by the pandemic.

The United Kingdom will be manufacturing at least 40 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine. As of now, the vaccine has proved to be efficient in shielding the users against the virus.
