AAP Claims Delhi CM Of Being Under House Arrest
The Chief Minister recently visited the farmers protesting against the farm laws at the Singhu border. He assured that the AAP will be standing in solidarity with them until their demands are accepted.
He also said that the party will back the Bharat Bandh on December 8. But on the very same day of the nationwide strike, the AAP has officially stated that Kejriwal has been put under house arrest.

The party has claimed that the Delhi CM is not being allowed to go outside his residence and no one is being permitted to visit him as well. Saurabh Bharadwaj, the spokesperson of the party has said that there are barricades outside the CM’s residence.
Delhi Police Rubbishes AAP’s Claim
The Delhi police have officially denied the claims of the party and called it nothing but a baseless rumour. As per the Delhi police, the Chief Minister is not under any kind of arrest.
An officer has also stated that the CM had gone outside his residence even in the evening of December 7. The police department of the Capital city has clarified that there is heavy security personnel outside Kejriwal’s residence not to stop him from going out but to protect him as there are chances of clashes due to the ongoing farmers’ protest.
As of now, Kejriwal has not stated anything on this matter. A statement from him would clarify whether the party’s claims are true or false.
