All the anime fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Demon Slayer Season 2. The series made its premiere on April 2019 and earned massive success.
Demon Slayer Season 2: Release Date
The anime series was well received by the audience and the critics. When the series was initially announced the makers had already made it clear that there will be multiple seasons to it.
But now it has been more than one year since Demon Slayer Season 1 released and till now the makers have not announced anything about Demon Slayer Season 2. As per the sources, the second season of the anime series was supposed to be dropped by the end of 2020. But due to incomplete production, the makers had to delay the release date.
The sudden pandemic outbreak had brought the production work for Demon Slayer Season 2 to a halt. And that is the reason the makers are still maintaining silence on the upcoming season. But if reports are to be believed then the production work has already been resumed.
Thus we can expect Demon Slayer Season 2 somewhere by April 2021 considering that even the first season released in April.
Demon Slayer Season 2: Plot
Demon Slayer has managed to touch the hearts of the audience with its phenomenal story. It centres around Tanjiro Kamado who trains to be a demon slayer. Actually, he is in a quest to avenge the death of his parents who were killed by demons.
Apart from that the demons also possessed his sister Nezuko. Thus making her slowly transform into a devil. In the previous season, we saw that Tanjiro has attained the demon slayer skills and is all set to find the demon who is responsible for the destruction of his family.
So in Demon Slayer Season 2, we hope to see Tanjiro encountering the demon. It will be interesting to see if Tanjiro can defeat his enemy. Also in the upcoming season, we can hope that Nezuko will finally be restored to her real self. And the brother-sister due might actually join hands to avenge the death of their parents.
Thus we can expect some nail-biting sequences between Tanjiro and the demons.
