High School DxD Season 5 is one of the most anticipated seasons of this popular anime series. The series first hit the screens in 2012 and four seasons have been dropped so far.
High School DxD Season 5: Release Date
We all know that the fourth season of the anime series was released two years back i.e in 2018. The ending of the series left us in a cliffhanger and hence we are all waiting for High School DxD Season 5.
The series was renewed for another reason by the Passione studio. But when is it expected to release? Well, initially High School DxD Season 5 was expected to release somewhere this year. And that was not possible because the production had to stop midway due to the pandemic crisis.
As of now, we don’t have an idea if the production work for the upcoming season has been completed or not. Some sources state that the production phase of High School DxD Season 5 will get over soon. So if this goes as planned the upcoming season can be expected by mid-2020.
High School DxD Season 5: Plot
High School DxD centres around Issei Hyodou a teenager who gets transforms into a devil. Actually, he was killed by Yuma, a fallen angel in the pretext of going on a date with him. But thankfully Gias Gremony revived him but he was transformed into a devil. After gaining his senses his world was totally transformed. Since Gias revived him he agreed to remain as her servant forever.
On the other hand, Issei was also struggling to maintain a balance between human and devil life. The fourth season left us with a little romance blooming between Issei and Rias. On the other hand, Yuma still wants to kill him.
In High School DxD Season 5 we can expect to see more of Issei and Rias’ chemistry. Also, there are speculations that Issei might finally refuse to remain as Rias’ servant and he will go on to ruling the devil world.
Apart from that, the upcoming season might also reveal Rias’ true intentions on whether she actually likes Issei or wants to just use him as her slave.
Moreover, it will be interesting to watch Yuma’s new diabolical plans to get rid of Issei. Will she succeed? Well, High School DxD Season 5 will reveal it all!
