Maharashtra Government has imposed lockdown in the state to control the covid cases in the region. New rules and regulations have been imposed on the people for few day

Maharashtra government has said that there will be lockdown for 10 days in Yavatmal, along with that in Amravati i weekend lockdown is imposed.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) also released a set of fresh Covid-19 guidelines for capital Mumbai. In the area of Amravati and Yavatmal covid cases are increasing rapidly. These places fall under the Vidarbha.

The measures came on a day when Maharashtra reported 5,427 new Covid-19 cases, a daily tally not seen in more than two months. Maharashtra Government has said that the schools, colleges and coaching classes will be shut down till 28 Feb.

But the religious places like temples and Gurudwara will remain open, the people who will be going to these places will have to follow the rules and regulations which are imposed.

On the other hand in terms of wedding, it is said that only 50 people are allowed to attend any kind of function.
