Manu Bhaker says airport officials treated her “like a criminal”

Manu Bhaker who is one of the most famous sport lady of our country was not treated properly in the airport. She said that the airport officials were treating her as she is a criminal.

Manu Bhaker who is a Tokyo Olympics-bound shooter says that the officials stopped her just because she was carrying guns and ammunitions for training at the MP Shooting Academy.

After this incident Manu got the support from various sports persons like Jhulan Goswami, Dhanraj Pillay and Harendra Singh-Harry. All of them posted about this incident over their social media handles and said that Delhi airport stopped her from boarding her flight to Bhopal.

“This is very unfortunate to have such incident occurred, but my association with Air India as an employee and a passenger is remarkable. AI has always set benchmark for showing respect to sports and [email protected]” Goswami tweeted.

Manu Bhaker updated a post in her twitter she described the full incident that how she insulted. She said that she had all the valid documents and DGCA permit.

She also revealed that the officials asked her to pay Rs 10,200. In her post she tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah who is the Union Home Minister.
