The purpose of the service is to provide a safety net for those who do not have their own legal representatives in Japan and who may have difficulty finding a representative in the short term. During the service period, JSAA will be available as a contact person in its office between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (Japanese time) and will respond to emails 24 hours a day. Olympic Legal assists businesses, individuals, families and homeowner associations in the areas of estate planning, probates, commercial law and real estate law. This operation of the service is carried out by the Japan Sports Arbitration Agency (“JSAA”) in cooperation with the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (“JAFBA”) and other relevant organizations. When the Head of Mission receives a request from a person to use the Service, the Head of Mission checks whether the person is eligible to use the Service. * In the event of a dispute between the person and the NOC or NPC to which he/she belongs, the person may directly request the use of the Service. NPC, NPC, IF, or IPSF may request access to the Service directly from JSAA through its official representative. The Head of Mission uses the prescribed application form for individuals and submits the application to the JSAA office or by email.
