Ram Kumar Tiwari who is well known as Muchhad Paanwala in Mumbai is arrested. The NCB arrested him in drug case. He is a millionaire but sells paan at Kemps Corner.
The NCB arrested him and they also asked him many questions. Muchhad Paanwala was arrested on Tuesday following hours of interrogation by the agency.
The NCB has said that Ram Kumar Tiwari has some connection with the major marijuana smuggling racket and his name is also associated with this. On the other in the same the they also have arrested a British national and two women from Bandra.
The paan shop is run by Ram Kumar Tiwari and his brother Jaishankar Tiwari. The NCB has said that today he is going to be presented in the court.
The NCB had on Monday also questioned Jaishankar Tiwari. The two brothers run shops for six months each. Both of them are famous millionaire paan vendors from South Mumbai and had been called in connection with Marijuana ring busted by the agency on Saturday.
His paan shop is very famous that people used to come and wait for hours to have his paan, he has such a high level customers and on the other hand he has created employment as well.
There are many people who works under him and helps him to run the shop. The shop has been running since the ’70s in Mumbai and has been a very famous name.
Muchhad Paanwala caters to Bollywood stars, businessmen and also industrialists residing in the plush upscale Kemps Corner locality of South Mumbai. Tiwari is said to have come to Mumbai in 1977 and started helping his father in the paan vending business.
