Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut continued his offensive against the BJP accusing them of using Central agencies to destroy the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government

Mumbai: Sanjay Raut held a press conference today addressing the enquiry notie served to his wife Varsha Raut in connection with the PMC bank scandal. Raut was particularly angered, openly challenging the BJP to come after him and that he isn’t “afraid of anyone”.
Raut alleged that certain people from the BJP “parivar” visited him saying they will seize power in Maharashtra and to ask him to stay out of the formation and running of the MVA government. He said that it was shameful that in a political war they would involve family members. “I am a Shiv Sainik bought up by the teachings of Balasaheb and he always said never bring gthe woman or children to the battlefield “
“I have files with 121 BJP leaders names for ED to investigate” Sanjay Raut
While answering questions Raut opted to speak in marathi like he did through a majority of his address. He informed the media that the ED had been in contact with him over the matter and had previously met him at his house and at the Shivsena bhavan in Dadar.
Per Republic World, Varsha Raut has decided to skip the summon by the ED citing personal reasons after previously skipping due to health reasons. BJP leader Kirti Somaiya said the delay indicates Raut’s involvement in wrongdoing, “This is the third notice to Varsha Raut. Why is she not appearing before the agency and disclosing the facts, they will have to return the money as it was related to the scam,”

The ED has summoned Varsha Raut for questioning on December 29 regarding the Rs 55 lakh loan from Madhuri Pravin Raut. Madhuri Pravin Raut is the wife of Pravin Raut who is the director of a company named Guruashish Constructions.
