Sourav Ganguly the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will get discharge from Woodlands hospital on 6th january dr. Rupali Basu confirms who was taking care of him.
Dr. Rupali said that they need to take care of him very keenly, his health condition needs to be monitored on daily note. As Sourav Ganguly will be at home so his family will have this responsibility.
He was admitted to the in the first week of 2021. He was suffering from severe chest pain, heaviness of head, vomiting and a spell of dizziness while exercising at his Kolkata home on January 2.
After going through several medical tests the result came out that he had a mild heart attack and had 3 blocked coronary arteries. This news was very much shocking for his family and for him as well.
“BCCI President Sourav Ganguly to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, will be monitored at home on a daily basis,” Dr Rupali Basu MD & CEO Woodlands Hospital said.
Dr. Basu said that Sourav Ganguly needs complete rest for latest 3 to 4 weeks and later on he will be perfectly alright. Dr. Devi Shetty who is the most Popular cardiac surgeon is going to meet Sourav and she will take forward his treatment.
Dr. Basu said that they are going to consult from the best doctors of all around the world so that he could recover soon. She also added that soon he would be able to back to his normal life if we follow all the precautions.
