Students and teachers from a government school of kerala are tested positive. A Month after Kerala partially re-opened schools. There are 70 teachers and 190 students have tested positive for Covid-19 at two government schools in Malappuram.
A district health official said around 150 students and 34 teachers of the Government Higher Secondary School, Maranchery, tested positive for the virus on Sunday. Meanwhile, 39 students and 36 teachers tested positive at the Vanneri Higher Secondary School in Ponnani.
A students tested positive last week and after that around 600 students of the school had to do the covid test last week. The students who were in class 10 were tested positive.
This has prompted health officials to ask school authorities in the district to keep extra vigil and strictly implement the coronavirus protocol.
